This is really impressive, especially considering you used a ballpoint pen. I was wondering, do you sketch the whole drawing with pencil before applying the pen, or was it all pen from the start?

This is really good, I love the style and the textures. It really makes it look retro

Tails is looking good! Nice choice of colours, that is one exotic orange! The blue shoes are an interesting choice, and I love the little hair thing on the back of his head. That thing rarely gets drawn, as it is only present on certain old 16 bit sprites it seems, so it is really cool to see it in the wild! I really think that small detail makes a big difference. Cool textures in the lighting and shadows. Really awesome art, 5/5!
